The key to energy management is tracking—tracking equipment usage, lighting maintenance and room usage. This is what AMX’s RMS 3.3 will do for classrooms, corporate meeting rooms, colleges and more. The RMS Enterprise systems simplifies operation, support and security for up to 1,000 rooms and up to 10,000 assets either in a centralized location or remotely. Reports can be generated to show which assets and rooms are running when they are not being used or occupied therefore wasting energy and money. A company can extend the life of assets that can be turned off when they are not in use. For a big high rise, that can add up over the course of a year.

On June 28th, CCS New England is partnering with the Salem State Collaborative Project to sponsor the First Annual SMART Technologies Conference for K-12 classrooms teachers and administrators.

This full day conference will be hosted by Lynnfield High School. Representatives from SMART Technologies will discuss the vision of SMART Technologies in the K-12 classrooms. Grade K-12 classrooms teachers will offer one and two hour demonstrations and hands-on workshop in all content areas. And the best part, teachers in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire can receive up to 6 PDP credits for these workshops!
