Every year CCS New England supports our troops in Afghanistan and Iraq by pulling together and donating items to a unit overseas. The 2011 Holiday season was no exception.
This year, CCS utilized the website www.anysoldier.com, a website updated daily that allows people to identify any member of the armed forces overseas and help them out with things they need and can’t get themselves. CCS chose an Army Unit of Paratroopers stationed in Iraq where for most of the soldiers it was their 3rd or 4th holiday spent away from home. The leader of the unit put on the website a list of items that they desperately needed and CCS helped out with those needs for snacks, candy, toiletries, DVDs, socks, magazines, and so
