Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • MUST have a solid understanding of audiovisual principles and practices or ability to learn quickly.
  • Driving the CCS Project Process flow and scheduling of various disciplines (CAD drawings, rack fabrication, control and DSP programming, quality assurance testing, onsite labor, and system commissioning to meet project deadlines.
  • Reviewing projects loaded into the database for common oversights and incompatibilities
  • Working with the sales team and customers to determine realistic timelines for projects
  • Working with administrative staff to ensure delivery of equipment to meet the project timelines and reviewing contract needs for submittals and project milestones.
  • Establishing timelines with customers and scheduling the installation crews based on job requirements and installer capabilities. Creating project schedules for larger projects. Collaboration with APM for resource allocation to projects.
  • Project setup in the software for project duration, logging time, assigning tasks and tracking labor hours, ensuring process flow is moving correctly and timely.
  • Monitoring projects throughout their duration and ensure change orders, labor hours and labor costs are tracked properly before closing
  • Closing projects in the database after successful customer sign off and issuing closeout materials to clients based on CCS standards and/or contract requirements.
  • Working with Sales and Engineering to ensure a scope of work is created for the project and works with the sold system o Inspecting job sites for larger or complex projects and attend project meetings, occasionally assist sales in estimating labor hours or during pre-sales site visits.
  • Initiating project kickoff and field kickoff meetings and providing feedback to sales or engineering if alterations to parts and scopes are required.
  • Working with installation & integration teams to ensure the project operates smoothly. This will include answering project questions, issues, and alternatively offloading larger issues to Engineering or to the Sales.
  • Scheduling CCS Sub contractors, obtaining subcontractor quotes to meet project budget. Coordination of personnel or material lift equipment and rigging needs.
  • Coordination of equipment deliveries with APM, Warehouse, install team, & clients.
  • Evaluating subcontractors’ capabilities and report as to their most efficient deployment
  • Assist in driving internal standards and with deployment of new software and best practices.
  • Proficiency with ERP Software (ex. Acumatica), Office 365 Products – (OneDrive, OneNote, MS Teams, Excel, Word, Sharepoint), & experience with multiple AV vendor software including Extron, Crestron, Biamp, Audinate, QSC, etc is preferred.

 

Experience required: 2 years or more as a project manager. CMP/PMP and CTS/CTS-I certifications preferred.

Pay commensurate with experience.
